A dull day but not round the Axe Estuary

Large numbers of martins and swallows over Black Hole Marsh again today.  Also present a beautiful summer plumaged bar tailed godwit, 3 little ring plovers, lots of sedge, a few reed warblers and a whitethroat.  On the river from the tower hide were the 4 grey plovers; 6 dunlin, 31 whimbrel, a greenshank and 2 bar tailed godwits.

Sorry grey plovers were a bit distant!
