Thanks to Ian M. for letting us all know Mike Lock had found a green winged teal on Black Hole Marsh yesterday afternoon. I've been studying the the teal just in case ever since one was seen a few weeks ago but having never seen one before I didn't realise how obvious it would have been. A stunningly striking bird even in poor light.
